Daniel A. Zuniga is a founding partner at Niakan Zuniga PLLC, ranked a Tier 1 “Best Law Firm” by U.S. News – Best Lawyers®. He is a seasoned trial attorney and respected leader in Florida’s legal community.

Daniel earned his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in New York, where he was awarded the Edward J. Bright Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Early in his career, he served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office before transitioning into civil defense, representing corporate clients. He later joined the prominent trial firm of Lytal, Reiter, Clark, Fountain & Williams, LLP, refining his civil litigation skills in courtrooms across Florida. In 2014, he co-founded Niakan Zuniga PLLC.

A Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Daniel completed its Master in Trial Advocacy program at Harvard University. He has received numerous honors, including Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers, Florida Legal Elite, Top 40 Under 40, and Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers Association. He holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell, reflecting the highest level of ethical standards and professional excellence.

Daniel A. Zuniga

Deeply committed to service and professionalism, Daniel is a Past President of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and a former Chair of the Florida Bar’s Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee. He currently serves on the Florida Bar’s Professionalism Committee and previously chaired a local Grievance Committee overseeing investigations of attorney misconduct. In 2014, he was appointed to the Board of Directors for El Sol Neighborhood Resource Center in Jupiter, Florida, and was selected as a member of the inaugural class of the Florida Bar’s Leadership Academy.

Born in Detroit to Peruvian immigrants and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Daniel is a proud graduate of Cardinal Newman High School and Emory University. He now serves as an Associate Professor of Law at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where he teaches trial advocacy. A devoted father of three, Daniel lives in Palm Beach Gardens and spends much of his free time coaching youth football and soccer. He is also the founder of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides access to competitive soccer for underprivileged children in Palm Beach County.
