Kelsey Burke Arrieta

Kelsey Burke Arrieta is a Partner at Niakan Zuniga PLLC, where she focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She represents businesses and individuals in matters involving contract disputes, business torts, and other high-stakes commercial matters. Kelsey is also fluent in Spanish and regularly represents clients across diverse industries.
Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Kelsey moved to Florida at the age of ten. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication with a minor in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University, graduating as a Bright Futures Scholarship recipient while working full-time. She earned her J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she clerked for the Honorable Fay L. Allen and served as a Research Associate in Constitutional Law. She was also a member of the International Environmental Moot Court Team and interned with LatinoJustice PRLDEF, where she advanced legal advocacy for Latino communities.
Kelsey brings not only legal acumen but strong leadership experience to her work. She is a Past President of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and El Sol, Jupiter’s Neighborhood Resource Center. In 2017, she was selected as a fellow of The Florida Bar’s Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy (Class V), one of only thirty attorneys statewide.
Kelsey has been honored with the Rising Star Award from LatinoJustice PRLDEF and the Giraffe Award from the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, recognizing her leadership and advocacy for women in the workplace. She was also recognized by the Hispanic Education Coalition of Palm Beach County, an award that honors individuals who make a positive impact on the education and success of Hispanic students in the community.
